A little history.
The big Louvre Tower, the future of the castle, was recovered in 1190 by order of King Philip-Arthur to monitor the bottoms of Seine. At the beginning of the 14th century, when the Tampliers ' property was handed over to the Order of Malta, the Royal Treasury was transferred to the Louvre and Karl V turned the castle into a royal residence.
In 1528, the old-fashioned Louvre Tower was destroyed and the royal palace started from the fortress. There were two new wings at the main palace building, and in 1594 the Louvre was connected to the beloved children of Catherine Medici. Tyilri Palace♪ The design and decoration of the palace is the hands of such great artists as Romanelli, Pussen and Lebren.
However, when Ludovick XIV chooses Versal as a new royal residence, all work in the Louvre is drastically terminated and forgotten for a long time.
Only in the sixteenth century Louvre New projects begin to be implemented, one of which is scheduled to be converted into a museum.
For the first time, the museum was raided for visits on 8 November 1793 during the Great French Revolution.
The first exponents of the museum were the royal collection of Italian towels collected by another French I, and the largest acquisition of the museum was 200 towels of Averera Jabah's banker from Ludowic XIV.
A large number of sculptures appeared in the museum during the mass confiscation of property during the revolutionary period.
During Napoleon, the Museum ' s collection was replenished by military trophies and archaeological discoveries from Egypt and the Middle East.
