Lover Halls
The Louvre is one of France ' s oldest palaces, whose fate is closely intertwined with the country ' s history. It should be noted that the Louvre is not only an architectural monument, a former palace of French kings, but also one of the most famous museums in the world with the number of artworks delivered. This is where the richest collection of exponents is gathered: barelefs from the Assyrian palaces, Egyptian painting, anti-sculpture... the list can be maintained and maintained.
Location of Louvre
Open the Louvre daily. You can get here in two ways. The most popular (and the most beautiful) road from Rivoli Street. It passes through a famous glass pyramid built at the end of the twentieth century. This pyramid, which united parts of the palace, has a loll, a wardrobe, stores and temporary exhibition halls.
The second route passes through the Door of Royal Musee du Louvre. Through the underground crossing, the visitor is entering the Napoleon Hall, which is the area of the museum.
Architectures and interfaces:
In recent years, the Lover has not only been continuously rebuilt, but has been complemented by new elements. The museum has become much more accessible to visitors. Internal premises have been expanded, and there has been an opportunity to display a lot of " spares " . There was also a section of the Straight Louvre.
In 1989, a glass pyramid was created in the Louvre courtyard, which was a real decoration of the garden de Tyilri. The building links the palace to the new rooms. The author of the pyramids is the American architect of Chinese origin, Joh Ming P. The height of the building is 21 metre, surrounds his fountain. There are two more pyramids down there.
Py did what Napoleon architects failed. In the 1806-1808 period between Louvre and Tuilri, the triumph Arca Caruzel delighted the Emperor. Now, the Triumph Road is a worthy replacement - Pea pyramids, symmetry.
The pyramid ends with a giant arch, which in clear weather is well visible from the center of the city. The pyramid is lighted at night, the clouds are observed in the day.
To the west of Louvre, there's a Karuzel area where there was a single arch. The Arca bronze wheel is a copy of the horses sculpted by the Greek sculptor in the third century before our age. Tillri's garden started out behind the ark. The smaller copy is now stored in the Louvre.
