The Louvre, however attached to it, are symbols of France and its capital. It's not just the largest museum in the world. Despite the fact that the museum has only two lower floors, it cannot be circumvented in one day, it will take a minimum of a week to see all the exponents in a hurry and without stopping.
The Universal Art Museum is the way the Lover is described. There are paintings, sculptures, jewellery, the remains of the ceramic articles, the word of everything that is worth to the descendants, that is, us, long before our birth.
Lubur timetable
Tuesday is the weekend. The rest of the days are from 9:00 to 6:00.
On Wednesday and Friday, work time is extended to 21:45.
The Louvre works on 24 December and 31 January from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The Louvre is closed these days: 25 December, 1 January, 1 May.
Lover tickets
The ticket price is Euro15. Both cash and bank records can be calculated.
Free entrance to the Louvre is guaranteed (if supporting documents are provided):
- Persons under 18;
- Persons under 25 years of age living in the EU, Iceland, Norway and Liechtenstein;
- Artists, Art History and Applied Arts;
- The artists are members of the French House of the artist or members of AIAP.
- Map owners ICOM or ICOMOS;
- Unemployed and receiving benefits over the past six months;
- Persons with disabilities and their attendants;
Between October and March, every first Sunday of the month is allowed to visit the Louvre free of charge!
Every Friday from 6 p.m. and until 21:45 to 26 years, free entrance.
On the day Bastille was taken, 14 July, free entrance.
In the Louvre without waiting
There are several ways to get into the Louvre.
The first option is to go straight to the central entrance of the pyramid of Louvre.
The second method is to buy a ticket in advance and to go to a separate entrance, which is located opposite Piramida (in the passage to Pala Royal) on the way to Rivoli Street.
